1. Paris Hawaii
Contemporary French fine dining has been resurrected in the heart of Waikiki. Carefully crafted techniques from Paris and abroad are elevated with seasonal, local Hawaii ingredients. This prix fixe (set) menu is available with, or without, wine pairings and only allows for two seatings a night with reservations at 5:30 p.m. or 8 p.m.

2. FISH Honolulu
Modern seafood cuisine is being served in a beautiful restaurant perched upstairs within SALT in Kakaako. The decor is open-air with highlights of the majestic Pacific Ocean, gentle tradewind breezes and an open roof perfect for stargazing. Menu items pair island influences with ingredients mainly from the sea but accented by the land.
Seared diver scallops, fresh day boat fish, Kona lobster and local steamed snapper all featuring island ingredients from Hawaii farmers delivers on taste and value. For the non-seafood eater, they also offer excellent Prime NY steak and premium Jidori chicken as well.

3. Cafe Asia
Families are rejoicing as a brand new hot pot restaurant has opened just in time for the rainy season in Niu Valley. Cafe Asia serves an abundance of familiar local foods including garlic chicken, crispy salmon rolls and furikake shrimp.
This fusion shabu shabu offers generous portions with a choice of 1-2 broths in one pot then a set of proteins, vegetables and noodles. The broths offered include vegetarian, seafood or spicy options and are extremely flavorful. The base complimentary broth is a sukiyaki soy with mirin, seaweed, dried ahi and sake. Other more intense broths including coconut curry and spicy crab are just a few dollars more. Share a pot, enjoy delicately prepped meats and beautiful fresh vegetables ready to cook and enjoy.

4. Paia Fish Market Waikiki
A popular spot for fresh seafood on Maui has made its Oahu debut in the heart of Waikiki. Located street level within the new Laylow Hotel, Paia Fish Market offers casual dining with an array of savory seafood dishes.

5. Waioli Grill and Cafe
This comfort food cafe is a gentle mix of Japanese staples including miso soup, agedashi tofu and donburi… with classic European influences minestrone soup, charcuterie and tartine. The menu is offered in the Ichiju Sansai style for lunch, which translated means one soup three dishes, and during dinner offers izakaya-style dining.
During lunch you can enjoy a simple yet affordable set menu with varied options, meanwhile dinner’s focus is more diverse with items available ala carte. Highlights include Kauai shrimp tempura, slow-cooked pork loin and miso salmon.
