On your visit to Kauai’s Waimea Canyon and Koke‘e State Park, be sure to drop into the Koke‘e Natural History Museum just over 15 miles up Koke‘e Road.
At the end of the paved road, another 3 miles, are two viewpoints overlooking Kalalau Valley.
At the museum learn about native birds, plants, and history of Kauai’s earliest wilderness parks. Knowledgeable staff can help you with trail information.

Koke‘e Natural History Museum is every day, including on holidays, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays, and 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.
