Eggs ‘n Things, the popular Waikiki eatery for both locals and tourists since 1974, was first opened on Ena Road in Waikiki by Jerry & Jan Fukunaga. The key goals that the founders Jerry and Jan Fukunaga always had in mind were using fresh ingredients, keeping prices reasonable and treating everyone like Ohana (family). Over 40 years and 4 locations later, the tradition of serving quality food and the spirit of Aloha still continues. Using only the freshest ingredients is what has set Eggs ‘n Things apart and what people keep coming back for. They use only 100% fresh local (Oahu Grown) USDA certified eggs, fresh locally caught fish, and fresh local produce whenever possible. You will certainly be able to taste the difference. Our pancakes are not to be missed. They are topped with more than a generous amount of fruit and whipped cream and are superb! Also, try our delicious omelets, always made with 3 fresh island eggs. Be sure to visit us during the very first days of your stay in Waikiki and you will be back again and again during your future visits. We are sure you will make it a “MUST DO” each and every time you return to our Islands. We are often crowded, but no one is ever disappointed. We think we have the “BEST BREAKFAST IN HAWAII”, and once you visit, you can decide for yourself.
There is often a line, on some mornings as early as 7am, so we suggest you get here early, but everyone who has ever eaten at Eggs ‘n Things will agree that it is worth the wait. We will do our best to make sure that it is.
Our walls are decorated with pictures of Hawaii in the “good ole days” so during your visit with us please feel free to walk around and enjoy viewing them.
When you’re here, be sure to also stop by our retail shop on the ground level. We sell our buttermilk pancake mix, syrups, Waialua coffee, eco-bags, T-shirts, baseball caps and much more.
Since its beginnings in 1974, Eggs ‘n Things was created to be a restaurant for locals and visitors alike. Our Flagship Restaurant is located at 343 Saratoga Road across from the Waikiki post office and is in the third location for the original restaurant. We open daily from 6am to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm. Our retail shop is open all day.
In 2011, we opened our Waikiki Beach Eggspress location for casual dining, takeouts, and people on the go. It is located at 2464 Kalakaua Avenue in the lobby of the Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel.
Our newest location on the corner of Piikoi and Kona Street, near the Ala Moana Shopping Center, is our first location outside of Waikiki and was created in response to our local fans that wanted a location with parking. It features an expanded dinner menu, with beer and wine after 4pm.
